Even though all these metals can be mined elsewhere but it will take at least 5–6 years to get them off the ground because like anything else everything in the US is slow with a movable deadline. In the meanwhile what is the US going to do with their chip green energy electric car and weapon manufacturers?

Sanctions and trade blockages to “kill” the competition will come back to bite the perpetrators in the arse. It forces the other side to develop their own technology production and at the end of the day become serious competitors in the world market. All the recent years’ sanctions and bans on Huawei for 5G is a good example. Huawei and China is now way ahead on 5G technology. Well I guess dogmatic self serving inferiority complex people never learn. They see the world through a pin hole perspective. Cooperation and collaboration is a more positive path forward to a win-win scenario.

This is a big test for China. As far as I know some factories even the supporting factories of these factories are preparing to move out of China. But similarly Chinese factories have purchased the equipment they left behind and are ready to fill these gaps.

The response of the United States is that we don't need to care about that. We can make money together.
